The Expert's Agora at Djazagro 2025 offers three exciting workshops, with two dedicated to tasting local products. These sessions are perfect for professionals to explore Algeria’s rich culinary heritage and eco-friendly innovations.
In the rich programme of the Expert's Agora, there are three workshops this year at Djazagro, two of which are dedicated to tasting.
Good news: the program for the Experts' Agora continues to expand, with some fifteen speakers already scheduled.

From 1.30pm on 7 April, Dr Feriel ADIDOU, winner of the title of Best Cheesemaker in Algeria 2023 in a competition organised by the French Institute of Algeria, will be exploring the richness and diversity of Algerian cheeses. Participants will also be able to learn cutting techniques adapted to each type of cheese, to understand the particularities of their manufacture and to discover surprising gourmet combinations in which cheese is combined with other local products (honey, dried fruit, homemade jams, etc.).
The following day at 1pm, Mokhtar GUISSOUS (agro-ecologist and lecturer at Mohamed El Bachir El Ibrahimi University in Bordj Bou Arreridj) will lead an olive oil tasting workshop designed to enlighten consumers and help them choose the best quality olive oils.

Let's take advantage of this visit to the Experts' Agora programme to highlight another workshop: on Wednesday 9 April at 1pm, Imene CHENTIR, lecturer at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences de l'Aliment et des Industries Agroalimentaires (ESSAIA) and member of the Djaz'Innov 2025 jury, will be inviting Djazagro visitors to explore the world of recycled packaging, a sector in the throes of change.
