The agro-food sector in Algeria is undergoing strong development and continuous transformation. As a local player, we are delighted to welcome you to Djazagro: how is IFRI contributing to this development, and what are the main partnerships you have with local producers and manufacturers to strengthen your presence on the national market?

The Algerian agro-food sector is undergoing a major transformation, and IFRI is playing a leading role. We are actively contributing to this dynamic by continually innovating our manufacturing processes and diversifying our products. Strengthening local partnerships is also very important for IFRI: we work closely with Algerian producers and industrialists to guarantee the quality and traceability of our raw materials, while promoting the local economy whenever possible. Taking part in major events such as Djazagro gives us a chance to talk to players in the sector, present our latest products and strengthen our foothold in the national market.

IFRI has a history of several decades of success in Algeria and has been able to extend its activities beyond the Algerian market. What is your international presence, particularly in North Africa, Europe and beyond? How do these markets influence your strategy and product offering?

In addition to the Algerian market, IFRI has built up an international presence that has accelerated over the last 5 years. We are present in Africa, particularly in Tunisia, Libya and Senegal. In Europe via our French subsidiary, IEP IFRI European Partner, which distributes our products throughout the continent, and other international markets. We are also present in Canada and are developing our presence in the Middle East. These diversified markets influence our strategy, requiring us to adapt our offering to local needs and expectations, while maintaining our high standards of quality and innovation. This international outlook enables us to stay at the forefront of trends and developments in our industry, and to strengthen our brand image.

Innovation and quality are key elements in your sector. What are the latest advances or developments that IFRI has implemented to meet new consumer expectations? Will you be presenting any innovations or new products at Djazagro this year?

With innovation and quality at the heart of our approach, IFRI continually invests in research and development. Our latest advances include technological improvements to our production processes, enabling us to improve efficiency and reduce our environmental footprint. The development of new formulas enriched with vitamins and minerals to meet the changing expectations of health-conscious consumers, and the diversification of our range to reach emerging market segments. These initiatives illustrate our ongoing commitment to excellence and to responding to current trends.

What makes Djazagro a unique experience for IFRI? What impact do you see this major event having on the future of your company?

This event gives us the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with professionals in the sector, which could lead to the creation of new deals and partnerships. It also allows us to showcase our innovations and raise the profile of our group, which in turn stimulates our growth and consolidates our position as market leader, both nationally and internationally.
