What did you talk about at the Experts' Agora?

Exporting to Africa and its potential. The African population is educated and trained. This continent has considerable energy, mining and agricultural resources, which fully justify doing business with the 54 countries that make it up. Africa is the future of the world in terms of business, and it is on this continent that we must focus, because everything remains to be done, particularly in the agri-food sector.

What are Algeria's strengths in this area?

Algeria is fully integrated into this continent, which is younger than the others. It is at the crossroads of Europe and Africa and has great assets in terms of road and rail infrastructure for transporting goods to the interior of the continent. The Continental Free Trade Area will also greatly benefit intra-African trade, as it will be a zone where all forms of taxes and customs duties will be abolished.

What is your opinion of Djazagro?

Over the years, it has undoubtedly become an unmissable event, a benchmark that has greatly contributed to the development of the agri-food sector in Algeria. Djazagro promotes exchanges between economic operators and enables them to improve year on year, whether in terms of packaging, processes or technological innovations.
